Flag Bag Holster� Kit:� Features our invention�a flag carrier that is designed be worn on the belt and secured around the leg to free up your hands for those other tasks (shown in photo to right).� Our flag carrier fits inside the backpack for storage, but may also be hung from the outside of the pack.� It is constructed of vinyl-backed polyester material with a hook & loop flap closure, and a hard-sided interior.� The holster includes 110 flags that are approx. 2� x 3� plastic on a 15� tall metal pin.

Gridding Kit�:� This kit comes packed in a sturdy black vinyl-backed polyester bag with an adjustable clip closure, and belt loop.� Includes the following items:

� Four 10� metal spikes

� 135� bright-colored string reel

� 7 oz. hammer

� 16 lb. lift pull-release magnet with handle

� 3 & 1/4� 2X magnifier with spot lens, packed for protection in a fleece draw-string top bag

Paper Bag Kit:� These 30 bags are pre-printed with an evidence & chain-of-custody label.� They come packed in a sturdy clear 4 mil poly reclosable top bag for convenient storage in the backpack.� Kit includes:

� 15 small (4#)

� 10 medium (12#)

� 5 large (1/6) pre-printed evidence bags

� Mini stapler with staples, for securing the top of the bags

� 1 roll of 2� wide by 800� long heavy-duty clear tape, to seal the bag top and cover your initials.

Small Item Collection Kit:� This Kit comes packed in a reclosable top 4 mil clear poly bag so contents are readily visible.� Items included are:

� 2 Kraft boxes (approx. 3.5� x 3.5� x 1.5�) with padded liners and evidence label pre-affixed

� 2 clear plastic boxes with lid (approx. 3&9/16� x 2&9/16� x 1&1/8�) and evidence label pre-affixed

� 10 round clear plastic 30 gram jars with screw top and evidence labels pre-affixed (approx. 1&3/4� od x 1&5/8� deep).� Jars are packed in a 4 mil thick reclosable storage bag with a white block write-on label that can also be used for evidence collection.

� 20 white paper envelopes (3.5� x 6.5�) with preprinted evidence label in a 4 mil reclosable top bag

� 5 plastic pickups (non-sterile) packed in a 4 mil reclosable top bag

� 1 roll of 3/4� wide (matt finish) clear sealing tape

Photo Measurement Kit:� This kit includes:

� Set of #1-#20 white plastic 3� tent markers, with nylon draw-string-top storage bag

� 2 plastic 6� photo scales - 1 grey & 1 white with calibration circles and printed with both inches and centimeters

� 1 �L� shaped 300 x 150mm (12� x 6�)� folding footprint impression scale with calibration circles - black on one side and white on reverse

� 1 measuring tape, 3/8� wide by 100� long steel, with spring clip for hanging from pack or belt.

Documentation Kit: Included items are:

� 1 aluminum clipboard, legal size

� 1 quad-lined 8.5� x 11� notebook, for sketching or taking statements

� 1 steno-size note-pad

� 1 pocket-sized notebook, 3� x 5� for field notes

� 2 two mechanical pencils

� 2 two ink pens

� 1 black fine-point felt-tip permanent marker

The Backpack Kit also includes:

We developed this Backpack Investigation Kit after years of figuring out how to reduce the weight of an investigation supply kit (for that mile-long hike into a remote fire) and still have the essentials.� This kit includes tools and evidence collection supplies to follow the systematic methodology required for wildland fire investigation.� Packed in a hydration-compatible tactical backpack with 6 outside pockets, the backpack carries the component kits listed below, and still has room to carry your own camera and snacks (not included).� With this grab-and-go Backpack Investigation Kit, you can leave your bulky, heavy, hard-sided tool box in the truck.� (Backpack also available in digital camo or red upon request.)
